I really wish they'd go back to making bonnets for Bitty. The bucket style hats are ok, but I want Bitty to look like a baby, not a young AG. I would love to have the old sweater set!! That's one of my favorites. I was disappointed to see the Bitty twins in their dressy outfits, the boy looks like a mini college student! He needs little rompers and sail boat things!

I agree with you! They need to make some cute BABY outfits for Bitty. I'm thinking about sewing some for my dolls.

I agree too! When I was little I had Bitty Baby, and the travel sweater set with the little bonnet was one of my favorites!

I have a little white bonnet that fits the bitty perfectly. It was a bonnet for a new born. You might try preemie clothes or just early newborn stuff.

I agree...I think Bitty used to have more baby-look clothing than s/he does now. All the new outfits introduced seem to be for older children or babies than newborns. While they're cute, I think they're made that way so that toddlers can dress like their baby dolls.

If you can sew, Morrissey Dolls has some nice patterns to choose from for Bitty. I've used the one for a baseball outfit back when I thought my Bitty should be a boy. They also have added crochet patterns so that you can make booties and cardigans. Some are more baby-looking than others, but it's fun just to look...

I myself dont like the new clothes for Bitty...even the patterns are really not baby patterns..Babies dont wear clothes that come to the waist...baby dresses are cut in the middle of the armpit....I made a dress for my granddaugters Bitty for Easter and did quite a bit of alterating on it to make it look like a baby dress....sorry to say we still had the silly bucket hat but it still looked a lot more like a baby outfit....I made a darling little pink sweater to go with it....I used one of the Butterick patterns that had a knitted sweater pattern...it worked out real cute...I have a picture of it in my Bitty album....I liked the old clothes so much better.....you can buy vintage patterns on Ebay with the old fashioned doll clothes and I am sure with a few alterations they would fit Bitty....I have a few but I am so busy with the AG clothes havent gotten to it yet..lol
